This is my our first class video , this is what back to school means to us!.

When the sun shines

When the sun shines,

it burns, it  boils, it bakes, it blaze
and it roasts my shoes until it cooks.

When the sun shines,
it evaporates my brown hands,
it makes my skin go darker,
and it warms up my room.

When the sun moves,
it wipes the sweat off my hair,
it calms down,
and the moon rises.

When I make the sun shine,
I can fry my rice,
dry my clothes,
and melt my slushie.

Net-book Reflection 2012

What has school been like this year with a net-book?

This year was my first time using a net-book. It was easier to write and to organise ideas in my own words. I learnt how to type faster. I loved that I connected with other people from other schools by visiting their blogs and going to the film festival. 

At first it was hard to search for facts because some websites had too much information. Most of the time I had to check if the facts on the website were reliable.Sometimes the internet will go slow and I sometimes won't get my work done in time.

I'm feeling more confident but there is still lots for me to learn.

TPS Athletics Team Rooms

We are learning to put information into graphs , and make statements about the information we can see in the graphs.
This investigation is to find out which rooms in our school have the most athletics in our school athletics teams.
The room with the most athletics is Room 8. They have 18 athletes in the team.
The two rooms with the least athletes are Room 9 and 1. They don't have any athletes in the team. That's because they are to young to go to the  zone competition.
